European Conferences

The first ECRSH was held in Bern in 2008 with the goal of advancing research in the area of religion, spirituality and health in a European context and networking researchers. Since then, we can look back on six inspiring conferences in different locations, which have increased the visibility of research efforts in the area of religion, spirituality and health throughout Europe.

An important aspect of these conferences is the exchange among scholars, researchers and clinicians as well as the academic development of young researchers in the field. The latter is emphasized by awarding the "Young Research Award" (YRA) for outstanding research achievements.
